In a sumptuous mansion built in the middle of the Welsh countryside, a feast is being prepared for distinguished guests. The ethereal Cadi, who has come to serve, wanders from room to room while the surrounding pressures multiply in the silence of the austere moor.

As the world comes to an end, horror films with an ecological content are multiplying, paved with good intentions that are often infernal. Lee Haven Jones arrives in the race with a cinematographic and discursive mastery that his competitors too often lack. Not content with lining up perfect frames set to instrumentals probably conceived in secret CIA laboratories, handling each of his Welsh dialogues like perfectly sharpened blades, he lets us glimpse with fine touches how his writing proceeds from a methodical construction, entirely at the service of his subject. Eco horror can finally take over.
