In 1970, the Osaka World Expo saw the birth of the Tower of the Sun, a sculpture by Tarō Okamoto. Monsters from 2025 suddenly appear and threaten the celebration. To fight them, the Earth Defense Force teams up with the superhero Taroman. Together, they travel to the future in order to save the Expo.

Tarō Okamoto, the “Picasso of Japan,” embodies the boldness and creative freedom of modern Japanese art. Inspired by his work, director Ryo Fujii and his team created Taroman, a series paying homage to 1970s tokusatsu. Come discover this extension of the series and Okamoto's universe on the big screen.
