Just released from prison, a young man immediately feels the need to kill. He holds back until his wanderings lead him to an isolated house. His occupants are going to live a hell, commented coldly by their executioner.

Everything in this meteoric film contributes to creating a novel cinematic experience, as fascinating as it is unbearable. The camera on Erwin Leder's possessed face, Klaus Schulze's synthetic music, Zbigniew Rybczyński's cinematography and editing, the matte obscenity of the voice-over, those visions of horror that never leave you... Angst seems to dare voyeuristic fans of news stories to watch even a trailer of a scoundrel report in its wake. It creates from scratch a cinematographic grammar to immerse in horror. At the end of the screening, nothing will be like before. After him, the deluge.
