L'Homme qui voulait savoir
After his wife disappears mysteriously on a highway service station, a desperate man quits everything and leaves for an obsessional and painful quest.

Spoorloos is a tragi-comic and unmoral trip enlightened by the excellent – and disturbing – Bernard Pierre Donadieu, and it is one of those « one-time classics » which gets better in time and discretion. Director George Sluizer (gone recently) himself decided to do the remake in 1993: The Vanishing, confronting this time Jeff Bridges to Kiefer Sutherland.
